Okay, so I used to have trust issues with my GF and am in the process of conquering those insecurities. But I feel like new problems just keep arising. Every time my girlfriend is sad I'm always there for her to cheer her up, and she says that she was always depressed before I came into her life, but when I'm irritated, anxious and somewhat depressed, she doesn't do anything to try to cheer me up... She's still laughing and having a good time and seems to think that it doesnt matter. I feel like she avoids me every time I'm unhappy, and I find that quite selfish. I also feel like I always have to make the first move to apologize when we re in a fight. Please help brothers!

Hey man, if you have to ask yourself "am I being too sensitive", you definitely are too sensitive. You may be over-thinking the "I'm there for her, she's not there for me" situation. People have different ways of showing how much they care about each other... If you are interested in the subject, check out this book, "The five love languages" by Gary Chapman and you may be pleased to find out that your GF loves you the same as you only she is expressing herself differently...
