How do you do it? For example, she asks for you to buy her and her friend some cigarettes; do you just buy them straight away? In my case, i bought them the cigarettes but I told her thats my birthday and christmas gift for her cuz just giving her the cigarette felt like im giving her power.

depends what it is .. if it's some dumb shit like "Hey, while your at the store can you pick me up a pack of smokes" then you look like a weirdo if you say no (that or poor). If shes asking for what is clearly a gift, then you need a "reward" for it.
