Okay, I’m looking for some advice from experienced PUAs.

A new girl started work as a receptionist at my gym recently, and I think that she’s absolutely gorgeous. I’ve only seen her twice when checking into my gym as she only works certain days, but I find it hard to come up with things to say her.

What exactly would you say to ask her out?

I would think of something quick or you're on the plane to wussville and it's a one way ticket!

Comment on how she's new to the place and get her to talk about herself. Concentrate on Gym related topics at first then talk about something random, then judging by her responses ask her out to lunch.

Great, be like everyone else who hits on her every day everytime they go into the gym. Game her indirectly.

OK, I'll bite. How does one inderectly game a receptionist?

Why go indirect? if there is one thing I have learned in all my PUA days it is that women want to be swept off their feet by a confident guy. Forget about your ego and AA just go for it...

Some might say "That's a high risk strategy" but is it? You have everything to gain and you don't actually loose anything, it's not as if she's going to pull a gun and shoot you. It's just how you look at things.

I agree. Especially if a girl is new, she probably hasn't been approached that much yet. It's all about building that initial connection, you can always calibrate depending on her reactions.

Disagree. You need to factor in that she is a hired gun. Hired guns are super approachable. What this results in is that every insecure loser who can't approach a girl directly to save his life CAN and DOES approach the hired gun directly because she is so approachable (given that it is HER JOB). So, you actually can come off as insecure when you directly approach a hired gun. Read up on stripper game etc. (the "ultimate" hired gun) and you will see that gaming them is very indirect.

She's a receptionist not an HB10 stripper getting carpet bombed with approaches.

I agree with indirect if she has a finely tuned autopilot heuristic as you have to go under the radar but don't feel it applies in this case.

I suppose it all depends on the op's skill level.

Well, not even the op's skill level; I think it is more superficial than that with a cold approach on a hired gun. When I have had success w/a hired gun or similar scenario, it was usually because she found me attractive off the bat.

I'm quite a confident guy and I don't have AA. I understand the basics of pickup, such as eye contact and IOIs, etc.

I have no problem approaching and doing small talk, and asking her out. Maybe I didn't really explain myself in the original post, but as highlighted in the post below, I don't want to be like every other guy who tries to flirt with her. I know she's only a receptionist (and that I have nothing to fear, lol), but she is a HB9 and probably gets hit on 10 times a day!

One off situational remarks and then keep going about your business / ending conversations with her before she ends them with you / etc. Show your interest with seductive eye contact and if you have opportunities, kino.
