So, I'm in agreeance with another PUA member who kind of confirmed that it's generally best to avoid fancy places on dates cause they can be expensive and then it can get awkward with the bill and she might use you.

The first meetings are great: I go for coffee after work, it's low key, I don't mind purchasing the coffee for both of us, it's a great venue to conversate. This almost always leads to date 2.

The problem on date 2 is two-fold: (1) I live in the Northeast and it's pretty cold outside so anything outdoors like a walk in the park is out right now, and (2) I can't really use the coffee shop idea a 2nd time in a row, but then again I really don't know where to take the girl. I fell into a bar trap last night cause it's warm in there.

Does anyone have a great 2nd date idea that they'd be willing to share?

Yes. Your place. Kino escalate on the first date and try to pull her to your place on date 1. She is meeting up with you in the first place because maybe she wants to have sex with you. If a no-go, date 2 invite her over for a movie, tell her to bring popcorn. If you don't want to invite her over straight away on date 2, just have her hang out with you, go for a walk or something, kino escalate and go to your place. Gotta get 1-on-1 time if you want to make the move. Spot on about any and all restaurants; it is a 100% waste of time in more ways than one if you are in the game for volume.

Yeh your definatley right. Doing the whole coffee thing again would make things exceptionally bland. If your goal is to fuck her (which it is I am assuming), transitioning from a blasé settings to your bedroom is do-able but an uncomfortable transition that allot of girls would be wierded out by (not all but allot).

Try take her out at night, go drinking, dance, clubbing, do a social event then go for the pull.
If I get a girls number after 5 minutes, I usually default to the coffee date on the day 2 around 7 or 8, then drinking, then clubbing/party/bar then going home isn't such a far leap.

Well, most PUA members who make these suggestion are just wrong. After work is ok as it is at least at night, but it is much better to do dates later at night, have alcohol involved, and be in a way more romantic setting than a freaking coffee shop.

Re second date, if you did a REAL first date, you can easily make the 2nd date at your place. If not, do a REAL date for your second date, like drinks, at night, somewhere romantic and near your place so you can close.

I reread your response - I didn't realize the first time I read it that you're a forum leader.

I'm worried that if I take a girl out for drinks late night that she'll just use me for drinks and then move on. Should that be a concern or that shouldn't happen if I do my part and show her a great time?

Any way to avoid the huge bar bill or just accept it as long as I think hooking up has strong potential?
