It's not as if she is rubbing it. The dude started to get friendly, but he uses a silver wedding ring, so she asked me what was his deal. Later, I told her she could "forget about him, because not only he has a girlfriend, they are engaged". That was when she said she was not interested in him. Since then, she sometimes coments on stuff the guy does (like this), usually on the "he has a girlfriend, wtf does he want" tone.
I didn't close because the other waitress went with us. I work at an event planning company (on the same building where the coffee shop is), scored a few free tickets to a concert and took her both with me.
My target flaked on me once already, it was before the concert, and I belive she had a valid reason. Do you think another "group hangout" with both of them would reduce the chance of her flaking, or should I just go for the 1 on 1 next weekend?
Are you trying to reduce chances of flaking or getting the girl? Go for one on one, but now with more info it sounds like she isn't interested. (Talking more about that other guy than initially indicated, flaked on you already, etc.)
