I am just going to give a tidbit of advice which could be wrong because I only know how my experience went. Basically its my opinion to every guy out there to start off indirect because that way you can learn about women. Going direct sometimes cuts off the interaciton short especially when it becomes clear that she is not interested in you.

As a beginner I would suggest that even if you think indirect is "beating around the bush" to start off using indirect for at least a good year so that you can have long drawn out conversations with women and learn about them. LEARNING ABOUT WOMEN is crucial to your success and reading a book about a womans behavior or supposed behavior is different then experiencing it. Indirect allows you to be in conversations for longer periods of time. Once you feel you are starting to understand how women feel then you can start to go direct.
