Has anyone tried using snapchat for DHV. I've only just started using it but I'm finding it a great tool for getting across that your a fun and interesting guy.

As snapchats are seen as just really casual, almost social broadcasts, its not intrusive to send a snapchat of yourself about to climb a wall rock climbing, playing footie with the lads or well anything really and it can sprout a reasonable backwards and forwards interaction which is based more on "the emotional sub-layer" as you only have something like 50 characters of text available.

I have never successfully used snapchat on a girl I wanted to sleep with. I try to keep my messages short on text so it's not like all I've got is texting game, but snapchat is almost too limiting for me. That being said, I have many female friends via mutual friendzone that are ALWAYS asking me to come over and they introduce me to other girls as a super fun guy to be around. I suppose a snapchat now and then won't hurt, but in my opinion it doesn't help a ton unless you are sending awesome snaps of you doing super cool stuff with friends like a snap of you skydiving or something.

Snapchat is a great way to show a girl how cool you are. You don't necessarily have to have awesome skydiving or over-the-top snaps all the time (though those will get her wet faster). I like to keep snaps brief: just a quick pic and a simple clever caption. Another fun thing chicks love is if, for example the caption were to say "chilling...", to use the draw tool and draw out the caption instead, along with a wacky little cartoon head or smiley to show her you're creativity. When the heat rises during the sexting phase, you can send her body shot selfies timed at just 2 seconds to tease her just right.

Works a treat.. been doing this for a while now but not realised that it's an awesome DHV tool.. I mean I'd been using it for pick up purposes just not noticed that every cool snap was DHV. Nice idea to share this

Honestly, I don't know how I feel about Snapchat.

First, the audience is limited to the same people who obsessively check twitter, facebook, instagram, tumblr, and so on. For me, fun people like to go out and ride roller coasters and go for hikes or just watch movies without the need to publicize themselves doing said activities.

Second, using a smartphone is somewhat beta about 60% of the time. You should just stick to terse texts, calls when needed, and looking up directions. Otherwise you're getting bogged down into a bullshit virtual reality that sucks.

If you really wanted to DHV then you'd be making a lot of money, writing influential books, playing music to an audience, etc. In other words, you'd be doing something aside from carefully crafting an image.

With that being said, if you do those things you can get laid by those kinds of chicks who use those kinds of devices. But try to keep in mind that those kinds of chicks are often stunted emotionally.

I find it hard to use snapchat without it being seemingly forced and unnatural. It's hard to record myself playing a song and... play a song at the same time. you know?
