| So I was out for a friend's birthday the other night, and quite a few people came, most of whom I'd never met before. Amongst them was this one girl I had been checking out through night, but she wasn't really making eye contact with me and mainly just speaking to the people she knew.
Later on we were at a bar, and people were planning to move on to the next bar. But they were taking their time getting ready, so this girl was becoming impatient and eventually just announced she was going, so I thought, why not? And followed her out whilst the others were still hanging around.
On the walk there we got talking to each other, just mainly about how she had been going to this bar for years, and how the others were being so slow, so nothing intimate, but alright, contact initiated. We went in and got to the bar and chatted some more, just general stuff like where we were from, and what we were doing with our lives, that kind of thing. The others arrived and we separated, I was hanging around with a few friends, and her with a few others. I thought this could be a way to test tactics, sort of, showing some level of interest and dropping off, letting her come to me. Later on, I went to the bar with a friend, and she suddenly came over to me, saying "those guys are being weird!", referring to the people she was talking to previously. Then later on, I was speaking to the sister of the friend whose birthday it was and this caught that girl's eye, so she came over and asked his sister, "have you met my friend?" referring to me and shaking my hand.
In the end a few of us got separated, her and the others went off someplace else whilst me and a few others just went home in the end. But I thought it was a decent chance to test some tactics on this girl anyway, as I had been out of the game for a while. So I was wondering what you guys thought, if I have game at all by the way I acted, and maybe how I could improve my game in the future.
