Hello.

Im european, 20 years old, and currently studying a cobination of the carpenter education and high scool (so sorry for misspoken english and gramma).
Im pretty muscular, and i i look alright. I would categorize myself as a 7.5 due to my 176 cm. in height.
I have been with 7 diffrent women, but i have always had a hard time talking to them.

Yesterday i started to read the game, and i have finished half the book, and i got caught up in it. though i havent finished the book yet, i am very inspired by the whole concept. Not just beeing with lots of diffrent women, but beeing more confident and more attractive as a person.

Though i havent finished the book, i had a party comming up this evening, and i thought that i would be a good way to start the "better me". So i went to this party rather early, starting up with just me and 2 buddies. As the night went along more people came and at some point we were 8 guys and no women. Finally the women started to arrive and the first one was a girl i had seen before but never spoken to. She is sweet but not very good looking (maybe 2,5-3), but i thought i would be an easy start. Acctualy i was not the one to start the conversation, she was. She asked me something i do not remember, but i continued the conversation and i mad a lot of jokes which made her laugh (i am rather funny). Some more ladies came, and i picked out her freind as my target (she was a little and okay looking probaly 7). So i started by asking the obstacle whom her and the target knew eachoter. Later on in the evening the obstacle was sitting in between me and the target and as the obstacle went out for a smoke, i engaged. I was talking to the target, and making a lot og jokes of which she laughed, even though not all were funny. I also made a sort of connection point between me and her, which was a weird instrumen placed in the living room. The obstacle came back and reclaimed her seat. For the rest of the evening i didnt talk to the target, but i could see she looked at me whenever the weird instrument was mentioned. I was thinking hard of a opener to get back to the target, but i had nothing. A little later the obstacle was sitting next to me, and i was staring into thin air thinking hard of a good opening line, then the obstacle looked at me and said "woow what a party you are having!" i responded "well im actually kind of tired, and i will probaly leave soon", the second i finished my sentence i could see she was dissapointed and said to me "No dont leave, you just have to get a little more drunk - (looking at a freind of mine sitting on the other side) hey Zoey schoud he leave? No." - then luring a bit more about peer preasure and democarcy (getting people to say i schouldent leave). I made funny joke which made her lay off the preassure and after 2 minutes i went to say goodbye to the host and i left.

So my problem is, that i felt that both girls had an interest in me, (espascally the obstacle) but i am clueless about good conversation starters. And how do i get out of the fangs of the obstacle and into the arms of the target when they are freinds?. I am quite shy, but when i think of the whole thing as a game i can flow it, but when it comes to number/kiss-close i have missed out on a lot of times because it suddnetly reality and i get to shy.!
