Last friday I met a very attractive girl at my friends house. We started talking and that led to kissing. After that, we moved on to the couch and we made out even more. We stopped kissing and I went to talk with my friends, while doing that, she came back and sat on my laps (we connected on such level that even people we didnt know were asking us if we were together). When she had to go I asked for her number and she told me to call her. The next day I invited her to the movies, but she said she was gonna take a break off college for a week and go back to her home town so she had to pack and coulnt go out that night, but she said that whenever she came back we wold go out. However, yesterday I started asking her about her home town and how she was feeling, but all she saying was short answers like "fine" "yeah" "cool" so i asked her if there was something wrong, she said she was busy with a homework she was supposed to email at 12 in the night. I didnt believe her so i replied "riight ok bye". We havent talked since I really like this girl so i was hoping you guys could help me fix this. I dont wanna come off as too needy though.

You half-hooked up with her don't get all clingy, to her thats probably how its coming across. You basically answered ypur own question when you said she went cold after you asked about her town, who gives a shit about her town.
