So I took a pretty long hiatus from pickup to put my life together and considering I was just starting to get moderately successful, the hiatus put me almost back to square one. Anyway, I've been adjusting to university life starting as a freshmen at age 20. Have my own apartment, blah blah.

I'm in a group project with this girl that is extremely attractive. Hot, smart, interesting cultural background. Anyway, my apartment is on my way to her dorm so I just walked with her to her building and walked off but really wanted to set up a time to hang out sometime. I just don't know how to word it. I'm not used to pickup in school settings because to me, school feels like a work environment and relationships in work environments don't often transcend the bounds of that particular environment.

I want to hang out with her, but how do I word it? My brain almost choked out, "Hey, I think you're really interesting and want to hang out with you outside of a class setting." But I felt like it was too awkward sounding.
I appreciate any answer completely. You all are great.

I'm in college as well and I have had success with inviting them to a group even where it is more relaxed than your first time hanging out. When inviting her sound very passionate and excited about the event and then mention almost as an after thought that she should come along. That does 2 things first women like men with passion second in the group of your friends it would be family easy for a DHV.
