Anyway, been speaking to this girl on OkC, I get her number, give a little text, phone her and have to leave a voicemail. I then text the following day with a little quirky remark, here's the reply:

(...)
Girl: Just listened to your message! You're funny and you have a very nice voice. Unfortunately last night I went on a date and it was a good one.
(2 mins later)
Girl: Too bad though
(A min later)
Girl: FYI I genuinely feel bad, you're a good one. X

I'm a total newbie, so I was left a bit baffled with this. How would you more experienced guys read this reply? Is she shit testing me? Is she just letting me down? And how would you reply, if at all?

I was thinking of replying with something along the lines of "And you're not even gonna invite me to the wedding?", mainly because that's my sense of humour, but that probably sucks ball bags.

I'm speaking to a few others and I'm seeing another, but she was hot and I just don't know whether it's worth pursuing?

I don't think its a shit test she is probably serious. Keep in contact with her, stay interesting, confident, playful but also slightly illusive. This new guy might not last long and when it ends in a pile of shit, swoop and that's your time.

Don't over engage her.. You'll only be rewarded her with additional attention that she doesn't need. "one date" doesn't change anything unless you're a bit out of touch. Send that and she'll chase.

RUN AWAY!!! Is my gut reaction. One date and she's already "exclusive". Sounds like a nut case to me.
