I met 2 girls at a party and got both of their numbers. The one girl I was talking for a good while and got to know her. We were pretty drunk and I was gunna kiss close but she was with her friend. So as a result I just got her number. I havent texted her yet and its been 3 days. I want to invite her again for a party this week. We're both college students btw if that helps.

Question is:
How do i break the ice on this one?
I don't wanna go along the route of "hi how are you?" or along that line.
If anyone has some clever response, that would be awesome!

When my texting game sucked, I thought it was invaluable.

Basically, you want to have the following elements in your initial text:

1. The girl's name.
2. Some new information.
3. Consideration, something that shows you are thinking about her/care about her.
4. A command.
5. A greeting.
6. A date request.

So something like:

HB! Hope your weekend was good I cracked a few beers & put on the DS9 second season at my place. Hey, there is a party at ___ on ___ night! Let me know if you can make it.
