I am tired of myself because I keep making the same mistakes over and over again. it seems that change is just impossible for me.

here are some rules I have come up with either by reading the forum or by my own interactions with girls
be loud
be direct, dont beat around the bush
dont talk about yourself, dont qualify yourself
guess her nationality wrong. if she is blonde, say "you look chinese"

but then when I go out there, I totally dont follow these rules and I act like the same old AFC, making the same mistakes that all AFCs make.
how do I stop making the same mistakes over and over again?

Follow a strategy but have no rules. Break your own rules if you want to. The more you care less about something the better you will become in that think. The reason that you don't follow rules is because when you go out your concentrated too much on "how not to lose her" instead of "how to get her" hence you forget your own rules.
