This idea is based on a few things.

1) Attraction revolves around status. If this is true then the perceived status one inherits based on their race would play some part it seems.

All those weary essentially okcupid tallied up their response rates and ogranized them by ethnicity/race. What they found was that whites had the highest response rate while hispanic black and indian men all had the lowest % of women replying to them).


In your opinion do you find that being of a certain ethnicity gives you an edge with certain groups, and if so would you so it corresponds with okcupid findings?

I would say yes it does. Don't forget though that OK Cupid studies and internet dating in general skews the results, because women do not get to see your behaviours, attitudes, how socially dominant you are etc.

In real life, you can bump up your success rate despite preconceived ideas / cultural influences.

But yes, there are some girls who may rule you out immediately based on your race. The trick is with this stuff to find your niche.

Despite how racist this may sound.... i find that i have good success with black women. This is what prompted my question and I wonder is it an hierarchy thing or maybe I just have features that appeal to them?

Ive dated more white women, but a lot of it was unintentional attraction. I can intentionally attract black girls more easily it seems.
