Yesterday something weird happened. I was walking the streets and was waiting at a pedestrian traffic light for the light to turn green. At the other side there was this couple. I looked once but then looked the other way because I thought it was rude to stare. I felt like I was being watched by the girl. I finally baited and looked. She then turned to her boyfriend and started kissing him, then she immediately looked at me. It makes me feel like she wanted to see my reaction. Stuff like this happened a couple of times and I wonder what is this behavior and why do girls do it?

i see a lot of guys get all over their usually neglected better halves when a more attractive dude is in the vicinity, sort of like "i own her" in a really insecure sort of way. dont think its the same as a chick trying to make random duds jealous/boost her ego but its not too far from it

I've noticed women stare at me as I walk by... I don't really think that's normal behaviour and I don't think i'm attractive enough for a woman to have that kind of effect on her. I'm actually kind of lost as to what it is they're doing. I don't even think i'm looking at them or anything but their eyes follow me as I walk by... I don't look rough or like i'd kill someone, I don't have a threatening face at all for that matter.

I'm serious, I'm an average looking guy and i'll notice a woman -- if she has a boyfriend or not -- just staring at me. She'll keep her head straight but her eyes locked onto my face or my eyes. It's a form of male dominance over the female but why lock eye contact in the first place?

I'll give you this, that girl wanted to show her "sexuality" to you. Depends on how she kissed him, if it was a normal kiss then she might have been fucking around with you or trying to see your reaction since you where stearing. But if the kiss was dedicated and kinda sexual she was showing of. She might have done it unconciously or just wanted to say "hey he's my bf".

The way i see it, she felt atractted and subconciously or conciously did it yo get you atention. i get a lot of that, you just have to learn how to interpret it.

Thanks guys. I also thought it had to do with getting attention/needing validation. I thought maybe there is this weird thing I do that makes women behave that way but it's just women being women

My girlfriend does it all the time when she catches some guy checking her out. Say for example we are sitting at a stop light and she catches some dude starring at her... she will look back at him and see if he actually was looking (cause most guys turn away like you did) and then start making out with me so the guy will turn away.

Maybe the girl caught you looking at her and wanted you to stop... so she started making out with her boyfriend.

Lol interesting to hear this. I guess this is the answer but thing is I actually looked at the girl for like 1 second. What other place am I suppose to look then in front of me. I actually looked away because I felt she was staring at me. But anyway it's not the most important thing I was just curious why women do it.
