I'm attending a house party tomorrow night, I am going to the shopping centre before it and hope to grab some jewellery and accessories to use for peacocking, anyone have any suggestions which have worked for you in the past???

Peacocking should be congruent with who you are as a person. The general idea is to stand out in a cool way, but also in a way that doesn't make you feel self - concious.

As a general rule of thumb, a really good black leather jacket is timeless and can stand out if you get the right one -for any male.

Less is more, definitely.

Too much of a peacock won't do anything for you.

Completely agree with both opinions.

Too much peacocking and you will either look gay, look desperate (as in you are trying too hard) or simply look like you have no class. Peacocking is good, but like everything else in PUA, don't overdo it.

Besides, you should pick stuff that fits your personality and looks. For exemple, I am one of those corporate executives type, with a tailor made suit, power tie and slicked back hair, so there is no way in hell I will ever use "bling", like those diamond watches football players wear or a rapper style gold chain with a medal the size of a manhole cover. What I use, however, is a watch (Breitling, Rolex or Omega) a class ring, cufflinks and tie clips.

Don't forget peacocking should be about accentuating your general image, not a collection of shiny stuff randomly thrown about your person.

If it's a house party get a cowboy hat. A cowboy hat says you're fun and you're willing to have a laugh. If you can be the fun and active type in parties and have the attention on you then the cowboy hat is definitely the way to go. Doesn't matter if you're wearing a suit, punked up or a jock. The cowboy hat is all encompassing. If you're out for the night you might want something a bit more passive but for house parties you want to be loud and proud!

Hats are great. Women always grab hats and wear them or ask to take pictures with the guy with a hat. They grab them, play with them and if they walk away with a hat in a house party you can always use it to approach the girl later on. It's not as if you're going to lose a massive cowboy hat or it's going to get lost.

Personally, I don't peacock. It's just not for everyone.

Hell yeah! Not everyone can pull on a hat, but for those who can, it is great! If you have the stones, go for it. Two styles I use sometimes are the fedora and the bowler. Haven't tried a cowboy hat yet, but it is certain to turn a few heads.
