Anyone got tips for an attractive facebook profile for profile photo and cover photo?

Ive been wondering the same. I actually heard some very different opinions about that.
Some say upload some pictures showing you together with friends Social proof
Some say upload pictures of you doing something interesting on your own (for example you on a surfboard or some) Showing that you can have fun by yourself and have a busy life.

I personally think its always good to choose a nice profile picture with no other people in it. Some mixed pictures of you with friends or pictures of you doing your hobby. This shows that you are not a boring lonely guy.
Just my 2 cents...

Cajun talked about this in some interview.
His idea was to make your picture in a way that makes it different from the other pictures on facebook.
That means; do some crazy things, cajun wore an eyepatch on his picture.
This shows that you're interesting, you can handle social pressure and you're fun.

for what purpose? I hope not to game random girls on facebook........

Here are my tips:

MOST important thing of course are your photos.

Make sure they're GOOD. Good means situations where you're:
-looking nice
-social
-happy, or expressing some kind of emotion
-not looking like an alcoholic
-not looking weird...

I bet you already KNOW these things, and most guys have a sense about it, but they upload stupid photos regardless. Don't be like that.

Consider doing a professional photo shoot.

Well, I have 3 photos on my fb page:

Profile picture is of me, alone, dressed in a suit, standing next to an antique fireplace. It was taken on some palace a friend of mine rented for his weading and looks like a CEO photo on a corporate profile. Other is me with a group of politicians and businessman on an economic strategy summit I attended. The last one is me with a HB on each arm standing next to a bentley parked in front of a casino.

The way I see it, about as important as pictures is to network with the right people (social proof) and show an intersting personality through the books, movies and likes you add to your profile.

Have over 5000 friends!

But seriously, online dating majority of the game is in the photos.

Have multiple diverse profile pics with you in exotic places and living the life...and have friends interacting with you in a socially selected way.

And please please, avoid posting over and over shirtless pics of yourself in the mirror or behind your computer. That's creepy and wimpy.
