So,

I have a first date this weekend. On Friday. I know it's not the ideal first date day but she's always busy during the week. Also because it is the weekend, I want something more fun than just drinks or coffee.

I met this girl in a bar a couple weeks ago, we made out for a while. My goal for this date is to make her fall in love with me  . No really though, I want to have fun, and encourage more physical contact and take her back to her place and bang.

I was thinking..... She lives in a nice part of town (hyde park cincinnati, OH) and there is a park nearby, that I have never adventured in. I was thinking we go to the park. Play some croquet to encourage some friendly competition, teasing, and most importantly physical contact. I was going to choose putt putt but the closest one is a 25 minute drive. The park is likely in walking distance. If anyone has any ideas other than croquet I'm open to them because i'm slightly worried it is not "safe" enough.

After croquet we can walk around in the park, and because it'll be night by this point the park becomes romantic and sexually charged.
After some walking around/making out/groping/all the other fun stuff I was going to lead her for drinks in a nice quieter bar where we can sit and chat.

After that, walk to her house and bang.

Thoughts?

your worried croquet is not "safe" enough, yet you plan to day bang her on a first date? I sense a disconnect

There may or may not be a disconnect, but Ignoring the banging, is the date a good idea? clearly i'm worrying about it too much.

Ugh. Drinks during the night time is a great date. Stick to the basics. Don't fall for the creative date fallacy. Drinks, near her place (or yours), at night. Simple.

I really like the idea of doing some sort of game or sport so you can have the friendly competition. Im thinking that will lead into drinks. Is the idea of a creative first date really a bad idea? Everything i hear is do not be safe and do what you think is fun. if youre having fun she will notice and have fun also

The problem with "creative" dates is that they present too much stimuli and happenstance outside and unrelated to you and your game. I always try to control the dating environment where my date has as few external distractions as possible. If you follow that guideline you may be ok with a "creative" date. Nevertheless this "creative" date stratagem is mainly a woman's magazine ploy. Your value proposition should be internally generate and not reliant on external creativity.

OK I understand now.

Her attention has to be completely on me and if I can create that sort of dynamic it doesn't matter what I do. Obviously it will be more difficult if i'm at a club or rave and easier if we are doing something "together" that is low key with no distractions.

It seems to me like every guy can make different plans based on their personality and what kind of game they use on a first date.

If you have game you can be successful taking a girl out to pick garbage on a sunday afternoon, but that doesn't mean it's a good date idea. Creative dates are a fallacy. You want women to have fun DUE TO YOU, not fun due to the activity.

pretty much but as a cheat sheet I only conduct 3 types of dates.

1. Super-compliant: I have them make dinner for me at their place

2. Compliant: Drinks close to my house at a lounge

3. Semi-Compliant: A quick comfort/attraction building midday coffee date in which I bail early (about 20 mins in)

As you can see none of these are creative and all are low effort.
