So Im walking down a busy area and this girl tries to get my friends and I to come into this bar, she says the food and coffee are great. I ask her if shes knows where theres any live music on and she says theres gona be a cuban band playing at her bar around 10pm. She seems cool so I ask her name and start chatting. She gives a fake name then says shes just kidding so I poke fun at her for being dishonest etc. I tell her my name and shake her hand and continue talking about random things. There were a whole load of people coming up to look at the menu etc but she ignored then all and kept talking to me. I even said, arent you gonna tend to those people and she said, nah Im having more fun talking to you. We talk for around 30 mins and in that time she mid conversation blurts out, 'lets get married'. I was like huh, and she goes what. Then gives me this sly smile.

She had a real good sense of humour and I was enjoying talking to her. She made me promise Id come back to see the band play. She said if I didnt, she might throw herself off the bridge above, which made me laugh.

Anyway, so we go back around 10pm. I walk over to the bar and she sees me and walks right over with a huge smile, says glad you came! She seats us and sits next to me to take our order. Shes making fun of me for ordering tea and shes bashing into my arm and prodding me and what not. She then checks on us around 5 times over the next couple hours. Were about to leave so I goto the bar and she comes over and asks if I wanna pay the tab.

I say sure and she brings the card machine. I then ask 'are you single'. She has a strange look on her face and says. no. maybe, im just kidding, I am actually. then she asks am I and I say no and she says, why would u ask me that.

Ive been in a relationship thats been over for around 6 months now, im just looking for the right time to break up. I havent seen the girl in over 5 weeks and she lives 15 mins around the corner, but shes always poorly or too busy with work to see me, so Im keeping my options open at this point.

What throws me off is, I dont remember if she asks me back 'are you single' first, or if she asked why I asked if she were single.

Either way, I ask for her facebook and she says she doesnt use facebook or twitter because they irrirate her. So I ask for her mobile number, even though she told me she had her phone stolen whilst out last night during our conversation when I first met her. I still went ahead and asked anyway and she replied' i told you before my phone was stolen last night remember'

By this point my payment went through, she gave me the receipt and then walked off. I stood at the bar a little longer, she looked at me across it but continued on with her job.

I dont really know anything about pick up or methods, I just go off what I feel and I want to learn from all my experiences. So Im just looking to know from more experienced guys, if I was right in believing they were signals she was interested in me. It felt like they were. Everything felt natural with her, there was a great energy between us.

So she was either thrown off when I asked if she were single, maybe because she wasnt interested. Or maybe it threw her off asking if she was single when I told her I wasnt.

Any input would be great. Also a suggestion of how I could go about going back to that bar and making it happen next time. if thats possible?
