might as well skip to paragraph 3 if you dont care about my personal progress in this world.
Well, like I said, new to this, been coming out of my shell, saying hi to girls, going to clubs, slowly but surely getting better at this. Also using online looking at it for text practice. taking each dead end a run into as a leason learned. mostly getting over my rejection issues. my barrier to an actual date so far, money, schedule and transportation, and not having a place to go back to because of living situation (cars tags are expired, renting a small room in a house with five cats). Im rebuilding my life long story short and starting new in a new city and state, going to college, on the gI bill, etc.
My conundrum is this, Like i said, been messaging online, talking to two to three girls at once at the most, its all my brain can handle at the moment because i got to a point I got confused who was who. I run into a dead end and move on. Girl wants to do something my situation makes it hard. I move on, practice practice practice, maybe ill get good enough that i can overcome that stuff, who knows.
Well, last night I messaged a girl on POF, she messaged me back rather quickly, I messaged back, asked for her number 4 or messages into it, she refused but kept talking to me, talked about some slightly personal stuff by saying what inspires you which went deeper than i expected. an hour an a half later gives me her number some point after I tell an embarrising story about myself and makes me promise not to give it out because she's paranoid about that, started texting, get some slightly embarrassing stuff out of her as well lol. sex and romance very very slightly skimmed over. at some point but then again we were talking about planets and their relation to greek gods.
A lot of common interests which isnt surprising with her being a country girl but the kicker, she seems to be intellectual as well with common intelectual interests. not often I come across a girl who knows astronomy and ancient greek history. Yep, Im saying I actually like this one a lot, prior to this Ive just been talking to girls who honestly bore the hell out of me, which is just about all.
hours later (total 4.5 hours constant texting, normaly I cut it off a long time ago but damn it I just couldnt help myself this time). It ends with her telling me she's going to sleep and says "talk to you soon
" , I say Peace, she sends goodnight, I just send back
.
I'm debating if I should send her anything today at all assuming I get nothing from her by tonight or if I should sit on it a day or two.
