I am still pretty new to pick up, and I have struggled with AA or as I like to say now, Approach Excitement, in the past, but I think I have made an accurate observation about men's behavior at clubs.

90% of guys do not even approach any girls at clubs or bars. They are wallflowers who only talk to their guy friends and sip on beers. Of the 10% of guys who are interacting with females, I'd bet half of them came with the guys to the club as friends. So if you cold approach, you are already in the top 5% of guys there. If you approach several times a night, you are probably in the top 1%.

Women respect a guy who approaches them, because very few men actually do it. Just don't do anything too weird, and the interaction will go pretty well. Once you get in the habit of doing it, you will already be far ahead of the guys who never/rarely do, and women will be able to spot this a mile away. They know that if you can open up a conversation with them easily, that you probably have done it in the past quite a bit, and that you can do it again. Approaching is a DHV itself. I hope this gives some newbies a little extra motivation to approach women, because they really do want to be approached.

Even if you aren't traditionally attractive, most women will be nice if they see you've taken the effort to man up and approach them.
