So I met this girl, got her number, been texting all week. My buddy flaked on me for a kick ass concert this weekend, I'm telling her about it, asked her to go and here we are. Pretty sweet first date. However due to the amount of time invested in this date I'm concerned about kino escalation. For example if I try to Mystery kiss close her during the first band and get shot down, thats a recipe for a bad rest of the night. So any suggestions on how to do this appropriately? I plan on dhving a bit, prob run cube while we are tailgating. What do you guys think?

oh yeah, and also how do I get her to pay for her ticket. Besides the fact that they are 50 bucks a pop, thats gotta be a huge dlv buying it for her.

I'll tell you something based on my experiences. If it's "on", you can ALWAYS kiss a woman. Always. Until now I've only been kiss-rejected only once, and that's because her boyfriend came cockblocking me. It's still a mystery why he did not punched me or something. He was with three guys and I was alone.

Now about kino-escalation, keep it fun. While talking, touch her upper arm for a second or two (don't look at your hand, otherwise she will consciously know you are doing it). Keep it casual. The first steps in kino are always social acceptable touches. If you have an opportunity to high-five her, do it. For example, you have something in common. Don't be afraid to be bold, especially on a date. Hold her hand, just do it. Or walk arm in arm. If you're really escalating, don't be afraid to play with her hands. Palm reading is a good excuse.

If you want to kiss her, you can be bold too. You can just say "I want to kiss you." or "Why shouldn't I kiss you?" Combine it with a little playfulness. Or you can say nothing at all. Just quit talking, look her in the eyes, get a little closer and see if she's moving away or not. If it's on, it's on. You can kiss her. Don't think it's over if she rejects your kiss. I have a friend and he was on a date, he had to try four times to kiss her. That's because he escalated too fast. But as you can see, if she rejects you, you can still try a few minutes later. Your first kiss should not be at the end of the date. But at the beginning or in the middle.

The thing about kissing is that you have to feel like, "Yep, I'm in Comfort phase. I can kiss her."

Now I've given you much information, but it all depends on social intuition. Pickup is not linear and there are always rules that can get broken. So don't push ALL your hope in this one girl.

The thing about money; a general rule is not to go on expensive dates, so that money is not a big deal. And if you don't want to pay for everything, you can always say like, "This one is on me, you pay the next round." But that's like more for in bar. About the concert thing, I don't know. I have no experience with that.

When you go to buy the tickets, say "I need to go (to the bathroom or whatever), I'll brb" Then giver her big bills that will cover her ticket and yours. If tickets are 50$, give her 100$ etc. When you come back, she will give you change and have bought her own ticket. If you want, you can then say, "I wanted to buy your ticket with the cash too, that's ok though, I have extra money for us to have fun now "

Well guys, went on the date last night and it was awesome. Wanna say thanks for all the good advice. When she answered her door I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I used random excuses to touch, high five when we had something in common, touched the bruise she had on her arm. We had great conversations, ran cube on her in the parking lot. One thing, she asked me where I got cube from and lied about it, said I saw a guy do it or something, then told her some bs that I did it on a friend's gf and it wasnt true. I hate lying. I dont want to lie about that shit again, what should I say? Anyways, I took her hand and held it walking in, and then idk it just built. She was dancing to the music and I started dancing with her. At some point, I was just looking her in the eyes and kissed her. It was so incredibly easy, it was just at a point where I knew she wanted to. We danced all night, and I kissed her whenever I felt like it and she loved it. Hit the bar after, eventually went back to her place, had a few more drinks. By 6 we went up to bed. Didnt get any sex, but when we waked up we did practically everything else. She kept telling me how nothing like this ever happens on a first date and how she couldn't believe she was even doing it lol. Such a good girl. But I guess thats how much she liked me. Anyways thanks guys, it was an unbelievable night.

Ugh. No it is not a DLV to pay for your date. Don't get sucked into that pua mentality perpetuated mostly by people with no money. It is not a DLV to pay for your date. Some guys have success not paying if they have particularly strong game and/or depending on their frame/the particular situation/etc. etc. but it is most definitely NOT DLV to pay, it is socially acceptable practice and not going to hurt you with any woman, for sure. If anything, from my personal experience of many hundreds of dates, not paying or even splitting the bill (even when they offer) has been interpreted as hugely offensive and definitely cost me second dates or lays.
