Not number closing the first time even after IOI's

I have a few ladies who I didn't number close when meeting for the first time, have any of you ever had this experience? I'll be confident enough to ask her their digits next time, but how do ladies take it?

every outing,i have this :D but dont ask her to put her number in,just hand her the phone and say "put your number in".only do it if shes attracted to you. :wink:

I am recently sticking to just one method (Emotional Progression Model). Now, if I look back at my failed number closes, it's because either I haven't reached Comfort yet or I decreased Attraction and Qualification during Comfort.
