I'm trying to get the feel for this, and it seems like people have wildly different opinions. Some like direct others like situational some hate routines. But if there are all of these different ways to do it then it must be in the way it's done. So just as a thought experiment can you open a girl without talking and how?

Hey mate I the effectivness of routines depends on the person using them. A lot of their effectivness is based on the delivery.as far as opening without saying anything that works really good on dancefloors at clubs. I met the insanely hot girl on a dancefloor onetime I saw her purposely bumped into her made it look like an accident took her hand danced for a about 10min made out moved onto the next girl. Or if you see a hot girl on the floor make eye contact then go and take her hand spin her around and go from there. Both have worked great for me in the past. Those are all the ways to open I know of without talking and they're really only effective on a dancefloor. Anyway hope that helps a bit good luck.

I've given girls "the finger" and stuck my tongue out at girls to open them successfully... It all depends on the situation. You are over thinking "the open." The most important part about opening is to simply get a reaction out of the girl. Then you can work from there...

I forgot about giving the finger that is actually a really good opener. I used it last weekend on a girl I had met before but really didn't know worked awesome.
