Ok so i was into a couple of girls on the beach the other day. I noticed them while i was looking for a spot to place myself. Then i went into the water with my buddy, then both of them came in and one of them went out.
So i went out, dried myself with the towel and went to talk to hair. I noticed that she covered herself with the towel almost completely like she was freezing.

So i approached. I opened with a direct "Hi, how are you" She turned her head to look at me. I added I'm (name goes here). She continued looking at me without having said a word yet, she looked puzzled like she was considering that i have met her somehow and she was trying to recall who i am so to avoid an awkward silence i said you dont know me. I quickly added, so are you feeling cold. Se said yes and looked down. But more of a disapproving look down, not a shy-down. I immediately thought of that as an IOD so i turned my body sideways and continued the rest of the conversation talking to her sideways. It didn't go much from there though. Her friend was coming out of the water at that time, so i said is this your first bath in order to justify her bein cold, she said yes... almost with an indifferent tone, then i took to steps ahead to show that i'm removing myself so she should feel that I'm becoming a burden, i asked a final question are you girls from here, in order to see if they're just vacationing or natives, she gave me a cold no from the capital. I turned my head away stood on the spot for 5 secs looking into the see and left....

Then i went back to my buddy we started talking off-topic and laughing to show that it didn't affect me, but he told me that shes was only looking to see if he recognized him having a puzzled look like why did this guy came to talk to me.

At best she was a 7. I just wanted to practice my game, and felt no remorse, its just that i sometimes question if girls nowadays are playful, or if they just go out just to snap out a couple of picture on facebook, and have guys hit on them just ti turn them down and have a goo story to share with their girlfriends.

That was kind of AFC approach. She smelled you from a mile that you were gonna hit on her. I'm sure all the guys are asking her the exact same questions as you did.

Next time be more playful and open with a proper opener. Maybe with the Jealous girlfriend opener pointing at your friend pretending he has the problem with his jealous girlfriend or find/invent a nice beach opener in which you still need her girly opinion on something (recommended). You may continue with a DHV routine and keep going..

You need to make her talk, laugh and feel comfortable with you, don't ask questions, ask for opinions. It's important to FTC when you start the set.

Well, that's a fair question: you didn't tell her. Next time, say 'Hi I'm [blank]. I wanted to talk to you because I want to make some new friends. Who are you?' If you progress a little and become more confident with this type of approach, you replace 'want to make some new friends' with 'think you look gorgeous'. Providing a reason for behavior allows you and others to justify that behavior and accept it, even if it is not a very good reason at all. In fact, I firmly believe that you could rephrase it as 'I am introducing myself because I want to talk to you' without any problem whatsoever.

Hey man, if I were in your place I'd have started by establishing a common ground between us. She was frozen, act cold too and open her while looking away - that'd come off totally natural - then you bounce topic immediately and I troduce your name later in the conv. Instead of saying u from around here - you can assume she's not and say seems you're not used to the weather or something.. Girls like when men assume even if they're wrong because it communicates a strong character.. I once was taking a quick cold shower by the pool and there was this insanely hot HB9 next to me I saw her checking me out quite clearly so I turned away from here (DHV) then I opened her up later in the pool.. Her defenses were already down

Thanx guys for your input. Lets discuss this a little further. The problem with Beach pickups, is that you're on an environment where you have no social proof. Except of course if you go the same beach all the time and it happens to know some guys and you bump into other people. But as long as you go with a friend and you know noone there you're on you own. I'm not against decensitivation

More than that, girls there are on their hottest. Their situational awareness is that that they're hot and desirable and everybody will be looking at them. I've even heard reports from a girl on an article on beach pickups, and see said, unless the guy hitting on her is uber hot, normal tactics don't apply.

So indirect opinion openers are catchy, direct openers like hey I'm interested to getting to know you, are still more likely to meet a kind but dismissive response.

I seriously think beach pickups must be the hardest one there is.

I will agree that they can be difficult. But heres the thing man, even if it's true that statistically speaking, you have to be very attractive to have regular game work at the beach, (which is something I dont entirely believe) you STILL have to approach the girl....

When I was at Short Beach in East Boston a few years back, I saw a 3 set of girls in the water wading. I approached them and said, "Are you looking for this???" In my hands were a few hermit crabs. We immediately started a conversation right then an there. Before ya know it, I was invited back to their beach towel. I didnt have enough time to close with a kiss, but If I remember correctly, I DID run the best friends test on them and they loved it. Also, they bought me an ice cream at the snack bar. (^_^)

Then, 2 weeks later at that very same beach, I had opened 2 sets. A 2 set that i bombed on, and a single girl who I spoke shortly with about her tattoo. As I was packing up and getting ready to load my car, this girl with fair eyes and near perfect skin started heading towards me. She took her finger and flicked it back and forth, summoning me to her personal space. She was hot. I obliged. She started asking me all of these questions and we began to speak about each other. We decided to go for a walk with her little niece on the shoreline. Turns out she was from Germany, visiting America to take in all of the sites I guess. I'm a huge metal head, so we spoke for a bit about Germany's huge metal scene, and all of his other cool stuff. I had her laughing, it was great. We approached a group of fat old ladies lying on their towels under their umbrellas. I asked them for a pen. They all began smiling as they watched me number close. She wrote her number and email down I think? Cant remember exactly as it was a few years back. Before she left, I asked for a kiss goodbye, and sure enough, got one. She had a boyfriend I later found out, but it didnt matter.

Like the song goes, "Girls just wanna have fun."
