I went to a new venue where I had the doorman touch my jacket and was then told "only for couples". At the time I thought no big deal, go to another venue. However later I got pissed off, that was assault, and he was lying. I am by nature a passive guy and should have at least challenged the door staff saying what I thought. I have come to a place now where I think I will ask for respect and not tolerate disrespect, if it is not given I will go someplace else.

I dress like Mr Bean. It pisses me off because I don't go for the tough look.

My regular places I am friendly with the door staff.

I have defended myself with authority figures before, but always felt violated a bit afterwards, I blame this on a lack of reference experiences.

I have noticed that the exclusive places they block your path, I understand security measures are in place, but it is also also a situation where a guy could be power tripping.

Going to pretentious places has the benefit of new types of shit tests.

So I would kindly request any stories showing encounters with authority which a PUA did not supplicate but was assertive.

I am happy when I went to that venue because going to friendly places you can be ignorant of confidence blind spots.

I do not have to win an argument in order to be happy, I would just be happy knowing I did my best.

A doorman denying someone entrance to a bar or club happens all the time. They didn't want you in their club. Usually, he is under the guidance of the club manager or owner on what type of crowd they want in.

Myself I usually try to be friendly with security always better that way, but I do have an amog story one time keep in mind I am 160lbs tall and skinny don't really have a tough guy appearnce, anyway I was hanging out with friends on the patio I saw this hot girl I thought I'd like to talk to so I go talk to her. Cpl min later some juiced up meathead with a v neck 2 sizes too small comes over and buts in girl was kinda creeped so I nicely asked him to back off he's like why dot u back th fck off before I smash your mfin face. I replied with come on man there's no need for language like that clearly we got off on the wrong foot let's get a beer this rnd is on me. I just wanna get back to talking to this girl anyway he kept trying to tough talk me and I just kept being nice then he shoved me I warned him not to lay a hand on me again he went to push me again and I dropped him with a liver shot. I should say I ve been a boxer almost 10yrs now so I tried to defuse the situation but he wouldn't back off. I don't know what happened to that guy but I got back to the girl I was with and it was all good.
