Hello,

I'm Henk-Jan from the Netherlands. I'm a 20 year old AFC (still got AA) and got involved into the game by reading 'The Game' , 'The Mystery Method' and this forum. I would like to get some feedback on an approach I did about 3 months ago (I don't know why I post this right now, should have done it more early).

So. About 3 months ago I was at a bar with a friend of mine. We were there really early (around 23:30) so it wasn't that crowded yet.

My friend saw a really nice girl (HB 5, in my opinion) but didn't have the guts to start a conversation. My friend and the girl were making eye-contact a lot. I was just sitting there enjoying my drink and minding my own business.

When it got more crowded (around 0:30/1:00) the girl and her girl friend (HB 4.5) were slowly moving towards us. After a while my friend managed to start a conversation with the girl he liked. I instantly knew what to do: Start a conversation with her friend. I don't know where it did come from, but I didn't feel any AA at all.

The conversation went something like this (for as far as I remember):
Me: Hi! I didn't meet you before, did I? I'm Henk-Jan *shaking hand*
Her: Hi, I'm ... (forgot it; I'll call her Jen from now on)
Me: Do you often visit parties like this?
Jen: No not really, I usually go to Eindhoven.
Me: Eindhoven?! You have got so many nice places to go to and you go to Eindhoven. What on earth are you doing there? (Some kind of a neg?)
Jen: I often visit hardstyle parties. (She didn't really seem to like my neg)
Me: Ah okay! By the way I saw you were here with a friend of yours, how do you know her?
Jen: We met on high school and we have been friends since then blablabla. But I'm going to smoke a cigarette I'll be right back.

Note 1: I was using basic KINO (touching her shoulder when speaking to her), but it was impossible to escalate it without creating a REALLY awkward situation.

She left. The smokers room is about a 3 minute walk from the position where I was standing. But the thing is stayed away for about 30 minutes, and when she did come back she didn't really want to talk to me.
Not that I cared, I was only talking to her to help my friend, but is there anything I could have done better?

Hey, sometimes its akward to start kino with a girl you just met. Maybe she had a bad day or maybe you just went to fast on Kino. Try to talk a little bit and have an excuse to touch her. when you said the "omg yo go to that places? so many places and you go there?" Could of gone Kino on "OMG, YOU GO TO THAT PLACE" maybe exagerate it a little and lean ur head in a little bit as in waiting for a response and touch her elbow for 1 seg

Look out for going kino when you have no excuse for it, might make you look weird if you dont mix it with some adecuate talking.

You started a conversation with her, many guys can't even do that. It takes time man. You basically described so many of my conversations when I started gaming so many years ago. These days they never go like that, girls are rarely awkward around me and are almost always friendly. A big barrier is shy girls as I never know how hard to go.

One thing you did right was instantly kino. Never wait always kino from the outset. Start with non-sexual friendly touches and make them slightly more sexual until you get a red light then stop. But ALWAYS kino from the start (I've been gaming for 8 years now and only just started doing this, so many regrets haha), why waste your time waiting?

And remember practice practice practice. The more girls you approach the better you get. Anyone who started from nowhere, as we did, will tell you it took thousands of approaches before they started to "get it". The more you do something, the better you get at it. Keep gaming, keep reading, watch as many YouTube vids of pros as you can and eventually, one day, you will just get it. Trust me, I guarantee it.

i think it had nothing to do with your neg ( don't think that constitutes a neg)...maybe when you were curious about her friend ( the one she walked in with)...that might have her thinking that your actually not interested in her?

Hah, this could be it. I reckon I totally killed my chances with a 10 the other day by asking about her friend. Not my fault though, I knew her friend better than her. Jealous chicks annoy me lol.
