So I think this documentary The Rules of Seduction is only viewable to UK residents only, but I thought I'd post it here for a discussion if anyone fancied it.

Ok so anyone who has had discussions on "inner game" issues is totally aware of it's addiction and harming effect, but it's definitely worth a watch.

EDIT: I should have pointed out that AFC Adam and Gambler are both featured in it.

I watched most of it on YouTube. First thought that came to mind was that it's only natural for them to shed a dark light on PUA, as that makes for good entertainment.

It's quite a good example of what society thinks is right. Even though that may not be the healthiest way of thinking. The documentary is biased in its portrayal which is purely for entertainment value and nothing else, to bring something with conflict to the table. Truth is they probably had loads of footage of AFC Adam and all other PUAs in there and they handpicked the moments which could be turned into a deeper message through music and a cynical narration.

They also focus a lot on old-school pickup and emphasize that routines and words get the girl. They don't dig deeper to find out why they work, and that pickup is actually a transforming journey most of the time from being shy to having confidence in what you're doing, which is what ultimately gets the girl.

Leave Pick-up to those who really want it rather than those who judge it. Good thing this doc will be forgotten soon because it's a stupid portrayal of a lifestyle that is outside of most people "normal" lifestyle.

i watched it and noticed it sorta down played the PUA community.i felt like it presented the community in a creepy light but if we all think it about it logically, this community is sorta like a charity,a fraternity that in a way that you are changing your boring, dreadful life into a super star, ladies man lifestyle.Sometimes it isnt always about chicks, its about overcoming depression and anxiety and making a big change in life. You are going out and doing something amazing and i agree with tr@veller that they forgot about it quickly, because i would hate if PUA went mainstream :( every dumbfuck would be out trying new methods and ruining them.

Leave Pick-up to those who really want it rather than those who judge it <---- yes :D

i also spotted kenzia noble :D
