Here's what's up. Last summer I met this girl I got the impression she was into me inever acted on it I really don't know why. Anyway we'd talk on fb and text or what not I'd always tease her she liked it I wasn't making it easy for her. Then she really seemed into me so I knew we were both gonna be at this party we talked a bit it was going well then it was just like she shut off then she left I thought what was that about so I texted her the next day we talked a bit then she stopped answering and just fell off the planet she moved and stopped talking to everyone all together. Fast forward to today Its been 8 months since I've talked to her I see she's on fb chat so I ask her if she is still a resident of planet earth she thought that was funny gave me a smartass answer we talked for a while she said how she missed me and was happy to talk again and that she needed to get away from her old city. The convo went good but how should I play it from here? What's the best way to set up a date with this girl?

The best way to set up a date is to set up a date. "Would be good to catch up. Let's grab a drink at..." Keep it simple. Make a move, stop doing the facebook thing if you don't have to.

Looking back on it I over thought the whole thing. I usually text or call I talked to her on fb before I got her # and this time just because she happened to be on the chat other then that I talk to her on the phone. I guess we'll see what happens thanks for the advice

I know fb chat isn't the greatest but I didn't even have it in my mind to text her I just saw she was online and thought damn I haven't talked to her for a long time. If I had intention of talking to her I definitely would have called. From now on all talking with her is gonna be done calling or text.
