I have had this happen twice now.

The first time I noticed this was with my ex and her bff . In general the bff never gave me the vibe that she was attracted to me. One night I got really drunk and told the bff about "how awesome my gf was", and the bff's behavior completely changed toward me. That night we all had a wild threesome, and the next morning I smashed just the bff alone. I never got an ioi from the bff until the moment I complimented my gf… Weird.

The second time this happened I was drinking with my current gf and her friend/co-worker. We got super drunk and my gf ended up passing out in the room while me and her friend partied some more. Same shit, i told her about what an amazing person my gf was and there was another shift. We smashed that night, and this chick had a boyfriend at home!

(By the way, my current gf and I have a closet open relationship so I wasn't cheating. Her friend on the other hand was being all kinds of scandalous, she didn’t even know at the time my gf would be cool with it, plus the chick had a boy friend!)


I am trying to understand the psychology at work here.

Preselection and Jealousy at work. Its a well known fact that when women feel jealousy they will actually act upon their feelings. Remember this and never be hesitant to take advantage of it.
