as in, should i settle for a girl who is realistically only a 6/10, solely in order to lost my virginity so i can progress? i feel like i have a bit of a mental block in game due to not knowing any practical information... please do help :)

What are you trying to accomplish? Are you actually attracted to her? If you are then do it.

Of course, you can save it for someone who looks like Olivia Wilde. I don't see the point, though.

aaaand im back in the room
she came over, literally almost fucked, we were in my bed, but even though i was pushing through with the whole idea, my junk was having none of it, and absolutely refused to stand to attention...

Performance anxiety, it happens to most really. Some can't get hard, while others cum really fast (I did the latter) Just go at it again, I'm sure she will be down to give it another go.

thing is, this happens EVERY time i try to get toghether with someone i'm not actually attracted to... its like my brain says yes but my body says no...

I don't know how to advise you here. Your not weird or anything. I started out as a 2 pump chump like this other guy. Talk about feeling awkward. It was messed up but I got better every time. Maybe have a couple drinks to calm your nerves. I don't promote alcohol but the saying "liquid courage" holds truth.

i think i'm kinda screwed as this is a self perpetuating problem. the more it happens, the more i think about it, th emore it happens. its happened EVERY time i've got into bed with someone, drunk, sober, otherwise imbibed... it doesn't even matter if they're physically attractive as i once tried with a hot friend who was down... and i can only see this getting worse as i age.

It's definitely a mental thing. That's good you pointed that out. I've heard of this stuff before. If you can find something to get your mind off it. I bet its just nerves messing with you. Now how do we get you over the first hump is the thing. After that it should go a lot better.
