so I took a break for a couple of days due to that bad experience and today I went near a university where there are a lot of young girls. I did 3 approaches, all failed, so I was like "fuck this, I am not doing this any more"

approach 1: a girl was walking towards me. so as she got closer, I said "I like the way you walk" weird compliment i know. she said "thanks" I said "do you have a minute?" she said "sorry, I am in a hurry"

approach 2: did the same thing, "I like the way you walk" she said "thanks" but kept walking, I said "wait, I wanna talk to you" she just ignored me and kept walking away.

approach 3: a girl was holding a bag. I told her "so what did you buy?" she said "pants, blah blah"
I said "actually, I dont care what you bought, I was just using that as an excuse to come talk to you, what's your name?" she didn't say anything, started walking faster, like i was trying to rape her? so I said "if you're not interested, just say so" she still didn't say anything. I decided to make it easy on her and let her use the boyfriend excuse, I said "so are you single or married?" sure enough she used the excuse and i said "dammit. well nice to meet you. bye"

should i just give up?

You are coming in way to hot and telegraphing way to much intent, of course they are not going to be interested your some creep hanging out in a university talking to people, and if its along the same path they may of seen you try to talk to the other girls.

Go back and read rules of the game do the 30 day challenge would be my advice, or make friends and just become a more social person.
