A bit off topic, but I take odds to that whole philosophy enough to write a mini rant.
Many PUAs and people like Sleazy and Roosh unwittingly put women on a pedestal by treating them like a scarce commodity. You are destroying your own abundance mentality and generating neediness with that attitude. Don't be idiots. There is 1 woman for every 1 man out there. Unless you live in China, there is NO SCARCITY of women. They do NOT have a pick from literally hundreds upon hundreds of guys fiending to get their attention UNLESS they're hotter than literally hundreds upon hundreds of other girls. In which case, you're shooting for the HB8+s, and obviously, expect competition. If you want to win, you'll need to be better than your competition (be it social skills, money, looks, fame, whatever). HOWEVER. For every "average" lonely guy, there is an average lonely girl, and the only way its mathematically possible for an average girl to get attention from hundreds of guys is if an average man gives tons of attention to hundreds of girls (not possible). Get your heads our of your asses guys. There are just as many of them as there are of you. Women are even more lonely and needy than most guys, and are constantly looking for LTRs. Sure they may be spoiled, sure they may be entitled. But the fact is, there simply isn't enough beta male losers to go around for all of them, and when push comes to shove they get desperate enough to jump in bed with a douchebag.

If I was happier in a better environment, after spending practically an upbringing in a shitty one, I'd sure have a bitter place in my heart for the old one.

Hell, when I moved to DC from my shitty, cliquey, old-boys-network city (the DC-based posts being what caught my eye about Roosh, and subsequently Sleazy's forum and that controversial post), I blogged about that shitty town for months, even posting Facebook updates shitting on the cliquey assholes I knew there who loved it.

With regard to the competition being merely average, and an inability to compete, this speaks more to the plethora of options that women now have rather than the ability of one guy, and the ensuing extra-pickiness we see. Average and "cute" 6.8'as to 7's get hundreds of emails on dating sites, they get approached on the street; they get approached in bars and clubs, at work. "Hot" guys approach them at the gym.

Throw any guy into an environment like that and you'll quickly see his criticisms say more about the environment than him.
