I've had some pretty bad moments. Not that necessarily in something resulting bad happening to me, but just me running every play in the PUA handbook as wrong as humanly possible. Now usually I know what the problem is and what I did wrong. But this situation was brand new. Thoughts are appreciated.

Background: Met girl through POF. Exchanged numbers. Seemingly thought I was getting IOI's (she mentions me being funny, texted me at 1:30 on Saturday to see what I was doing, playing along with my games) she also was the person who invited me out.

Finally after a few days we meet up. Seemingly within about three seconds of meeting her she was on her phone. I tried to continue the same approach from the texting. Some giggles but flat out ignored. I tried to get into more substantive topics. Ignored. Tried to begin Kino, very early stages. Ignored. teased her about the phone. Ignored.

Now I did have a few take a way's but it's mostly about setting up Day 2's. But the rest of the situation is baffling to me. I'll admit my experience is limited but the drop off from IOI's to complete disinterest is remarkable. I didnt even get sh*t tested, so this is coming out of left field.

So my questions to fellow PUAs: Is every situation salvageable? Is this drop off in IOI's an inherit problem related to internet dating? Any other thoughts on my predicament?

Drop this one. Don't bother to salvage. Phone on a date within 3 seconds? That's pretty bad. It rarely ever happens to me and if it does they apologize profusely. In my opinion what happened here is that you looked very different than she expected and was turned off. Did you lie a lot about your height, weight, or put misleading pictures? One of the WORST strategies in online game is to make yourself look much better than you really are in pictures.. it leads to more dates, but a lot of shitty dates like this one.

Yeah I think after thinking back that would have been the case with the looks. She told me it was her first time meeting someone in real life from the web, which only compounded the fact. May have been a sh!t test I missed along the way but I cant think of anything cause she was so withdrawn

My question was in reference to salvaging Day 2. I dropped her number out of my phone, as soon as we split I knew it was a lost cause. Well as always lesson learned. Much appreciated for the advice

To answer your question, no, not every situation is salvageable. With PUA you can salvage a higher % of situations, but all of them, not even close.
