I remember a couple years ago I was just starting to date a girl and she was running hot and cold and I started to chase more. one thing I did that made her do a 180 was say "Hey maybe we should just be friends, I dont know if we work together or not" this drove her crazy and made her literally run to me. I am thinking about using this tactic on this new girl, we only went on one date but this girl is kind of smart. I'm not sure.

You don't want to chase her... ever. You want her chasing you.

You don't really want to use that tactic unless you think she's close to putting you in that situation. How did the date go? Can't be good since your thinking of using this

So went on a date with this girl, it went well. she traveled for a bit and we texted back and forth for the couple days she was there, sometimes me, sometimes her would initiate contact. here is our recent conversation via text

-I just landed, my whole life hurts(she went to do a marathon) I look like the tin man at the moment thats how stiff I am

- I'd rather have you be dorothy I bet you'd look cute in the red shoes

- Maybe one day, just not today or tomorrow or the next day

-alright well better or no date #2

- Maybe this week, if we got time. today would have been perfect, i'll figure something out

- I know but I literally am a mess, I wouldnt have been any fun

I ended up just replying "Yah"

so that was yesterday. no text from her today and I havent sent anything yet.

Wait a couple more days and if she doesn't contact your first try to set something up. Be direct with a date and a time. If she flakes then move on.

Ended up saying " class got canceled, lets get a drink tonight"

She replies fast sayin "I wish I could :/ I'm sorry this week is crazy. I need to get home tonight to pack. I move into my new place Friday and Saturday. "

This is bothering me, I can't tell if she's just really busy or lost interest.

Also magic alone sorry I normally am busy and did get today off so I figured I would ask.

You should of waited more time though. Right now I wouldn't hit her up for at least 2-3 weeks as you've already asked her out a couple of times and she has used the I'm busy line(trust me if she really wanted to see you she'd make time). Game other girls and come back to this one after awhile.
