Met a girl for a drink last night, it was our first date. things went well, we actually met on line years ago then just became facebook friends and never actually went on a date till yesterday. we chatted for a while like 3 hours and we both agreed online dating was kind of weird so when friends asked we would just say we met in public, she actually said " my friend asked why im so dressed up and I said i'm going on a date after" which is good. anyways not that this is bad but as I walked her to her car I went in for a kiss and she said "I dont kiss on the first date" she is pretty conservatively so I just let it go and we did a hug and cheek kiss. she was saying how she has to travel tomorrow so she is going right to bed when she gets back, I figured I would text her a couple hours later after the date just to say I had fun and such, I said " had a good night, you looked kinda cute tonight ;), have a safe trip and maybe you'll see me again. she replied before her flight saying " I had a good time too, hopefully maybe I see you again"

what do you think?, shes gone till tuesday, no reason to text her or anything else.

I say she's not interested. At all.

not agreeing to the kiss is a pretty significant IOD. With that said she texted you back even though you texted her a few hours after the date which gives you some, though minimal hope to be honest. Texting a few hours after a date? That's pickup 101 stuff not to do.

I thought so too but she lived an hour and a half drive away so I figured id send something. she seems conservative though so the kiss is a pardon, she did other stuff on the date though played with her hair, asked me questions and such.

No kiss when you go for one is an IOD. Plain and simple. Girls play with their hair and ask questions, that is what girls do. What do you want her to do on a date, not say anything, just nod and answer your questions? There is minimal hope here. Your best bet is to not communicate with her for a while and try again in a couple weeks.

Ended up sending a damage control text recently

Also my humor is a bit odd kinda sarcastic, obviously you looked pretty last night, and I do want to see you again.

Poor move. Cut all communications. I know you think the situation is salvagable like this, but it's not. We have all been there, its probably what got a lot of us into Pick up,a situation where we liked a girl and she didnt like us back.

She replied

"Lol it's okay, I have a dry sarcastic sense of humor too. I just had nothing witty to follow with at 4:00am. I hadn't had coffee yet. "

Dude you're fine- don't cut all communication.

Her response could have been better, yeah, but she did sit with you for all that time and she is texting you back.

I don't know how much rapport you have built up with her, but if it's enough, invite her out again as some time goes by.

It looks like your texts were a bit formal, but what's done is done. Next time try to hook onto some point from your night and be playful with it.

Introduce her to me and lets see how conservative she is :)

Bro, you fucked up somewhere. You most likely didn't escalate right when you went in for a kiss... You created an awkward moment and her logical mind pulled back. Think back to the interaction and figure out where you fucked up.
