She flaked

Asked a girl out yesterday who ive been texting for a while. It was a nice day, asked her to come to the park, she replied with "i cant sorry im out with my mum". She has been giving iois through her texts however, the fact that she flaked says to me she is not interested. She could have genuinally been with her mum tho. Should i ask her to come out today as the weather is nice or does that show needyness?

She's not a magic genie that appears as soon as you call it. Besides you've only been texting so I'd guess her investment in you isn't very high. So find out when's a good day that works for the both of your schedules to go to the park.

p.s flaking is when she agrees to meet but cancels or doesn't show up.

She didn't flake she gave you a excuse. Give her a soft next and make her contact you first and set up something 1 on 1, if she declines, NEXT

Don't take it personal. Cant expect a girl to jump when you say so, even if she wants to be around you she may play a bit aloof or disinterested so as not to come off as too needy. Or, she was really with her mom.
Calm down, dont get all reactive and bitchy simply talk to her with respect and after a few more convos ask her out again. Persistence.
