After a boring texting message, i decided to text her again on the other day,
Here's the conversation


ME; hey! I miss you and want to see u badly. But this security guard wont let me in to the zoo! Can u escape?

A couple days later, she answers

"Thanks for the insult"


What the hell should i do now.....

"Geez, I guess I mistook you as somebody with a sense of humor. Lighten up dork!"
Or something to that effect.

"Oh dear......"

You didn't have enough comfort yet to talk to her like that. She took it as insulting. It wasn't playful. The worst thing you could now would be to follow it up with something else that's insulting. Respond with something like "I'm only being playful. I happen to really like the zoo. When I was a kid I used to love to see the monkey exhibit. What's your favorite animal?" You're basically reframing the situation and brushing it off as not a big deal.

Sorry bro but you deserve that.

Be less "gamey" and more normal. Keep texting simple, light, and too the point. Limit the humor to real life interactions.

Texts get misconstrued all the time by people as there are relatively few to no behavioral cues present. Emoticons barely cut it. Don't beleive the PUA text hype.

I answered like what u said and she replied;

I've been down that road before and to be honest you made one major error prior to even texting her.

She is a HB 7. You managed to get her number because you find her attractive right? We live in a world were its all about the survival of the fittest. You waited a week before contacting her. Who is to say that she hadn't crossed paths with someone who found her attactive and got her number within that week.

Only difference between you and the other guy is that the other guy didn't want to her to slip through his fingers and kept the romantic flame lit.

I would say that this situation has flat lined and its time to berry it. Don't take this as a negative experience but a positive one by avoiding the same scenario to repeat itself in the future. Turn that 7 HB into a future 8 HB from what you have learnt with your past failures.

If picking up was easy everyone would be getting laid. Experience is everything and learn from it.

Well, my best guess is that you were not congruent with your actions. If you were cocky funny when you first met her and then texted her something like that she wouldn't take it as an insult. Whatever your style is keep it that way. The more you keep on changing that, the more a girl will start to think you have a hidden agenda behind you and then she wouldn't feel comfortable with you just my 2 cents
