I've been texting this girl I work with. She isn't scheduled for several more days so I'm not going to be able to see her in person anytime soon. we've texted each other every day since we saw one another last. Now, I'm thinking I've been friend zoned and am just going to move on to another girl when she texts me again.
Pretty much the whole night I either made sexual jokes, implied sexual things, or made it sound like the conversation was about to end. Because I'm in the Friend zone, I think, "fuck it, I don't have the skills to get out of there yet. So have a bit of fun." It goes back and forth like that, the whole thing almost ending and then playful sexualized banter. Rinse. Repeat.
But then after the last time I almost end the conversation, she has to practically drag some sexual implications out of me. It's fun and flirty for a bit, the whole time not saying anything specific, just implying things. She then tells me she's not a cheater and this feels a bit like cheating. I make some vague comment on it not saying anything one way or the other.
It kinda came out of left field. I mean,I knew she had a boyfriend and everything, but our entire relationship thus far has pretty much been built on work and flirting. So what we were doing tonight wasn't anything new. She says she's going to sleep and abruptly ends the conversation. so...what the hell just happened? And how should I handle this? Don't have much experience with girls in relationships already.
Obviously she wasn't comfortable with what you were talking about. The ONLY way to escape the friend zone is go no contact and while your doing that establish a new identity. In other words make her contact you and I'll be honest she might not, but in the mean time game other girls and move on.
