Anyone up for going sarging in Sheffield? Fairly new to the game but wanna improve my night game skills without my AFC friends slowing things down.

right erudyte - know that feeling about the AFC lobsterpot. I'm wanting to develop solid game, which needs solid feedback from someone who wants to follow this same path (chumps confound my efforts). Up for night sarging, but interested in day game. I know Sheffield and surrounding areas very well.

I'm from Derby so not far at all so if anyone is up for organising a night in Sheffield i'd be to tagging along!!

Sheffield is a good night out if you're not expecting the bars and clubs to be packed full every weekend. It has more bars (but less big clubs) than Leeds and is a smaller town so can sometimes feel a bit quiet compared to other big northern towns.

However, the people of Sheff are great, friendly, open, warm (no I'm not a local, Leeds born and bred) which makes sarging here all that nicer!

The great thing about Sheff's nightlife is that it pretty much all happens along two streets (West Street, Division Street) and on a busy summers night has the feel of a holiday town about it, people spilling out of bars etc etc.

Theres not much point going in to specifics about bar venues, explore the two roads above (end to end) and you'll find everything you're looking for and more.

The 3 big clubs in town since GateCrasher burnt down (neither of them along the main pub/bar streets) are 'the Leadmill' (indie, studenty vibe Nr Train Station) and The Plug (House, electro etc) and Nylon (house music again). There is a big 'drinkers' club in the centre of town near the City Hall but it's name always escapes me. Oh and there's the newly opened Carling Academy on Arundel Gate (gig venue, House nights) Haven't been yet but imagine it attracts a fairly varied crowd.

If its after hours late night sarging you're after, ClubDQ and FEZ (see the flyer guys hanging around town for invitations) are both open till 9am

A short walk or taxi ride just outside the centre will get you to Eccleshall Road, which has a few bars and pubs worth checking out.

Sounds like there's a few interested. I'd be up for some kind of session. I like to work under pressure so being around people that know what's going on and as a result have higher expectations can be only beneficial I think.

Sounds like I can even make Club DQ/FEZ my hotel replacement !

I don't live at all close, but transport is fairly easily worked.

I'm currently working on transitioning from AFC so looking for experienced or like minded guys to hook up with for nights out in sheffield.

I'm mid 30's with plenty of mates in their 20's and 30's but all are AFC's or married so I'm not moving forward at all.

I'm looking to work on openings firstly, it's where I struggle mainly, once in I'm ok but then closing is an issue lol, but I know where I need to focus so have a set improvement plan around that.

i have been looking all over the internet for a pua society, to meet other puas and perhaps work together to develope our skills, but so far i don't there any, so any of you knows about a sheffield liar then could you please tell me how can i get to any of its members, and if there isn't any i think it is about time we set up 1.

i have been trying to make small group with some friends, but it is very difficult to change thier mentality from AFC to PUA, unless some one is actually intrested seduction it very difficlut to work with them, so i think getting some sarging mates will be very beneficial for every1.

yeh we should def try and organise a night out soon in Sheffield...doesn't have to be formal...just pass on tips try and help each other and generally have a good night out in Sheffield...best way to learn is with others in the field!!!

Sidelei and I have made two or three trips out in sheff over the past two weeks, we've collected a few numbers between us and had some good sets (and some bad ones too!) - everyone here is welcome to join us...

We've been starting in menzels on eccy rd, then hitting west street, the forum and plug, although we're thinking of spreading our wings a bit further in the hope finding classier targets!

We'll be out and about this week for sure - pm if you want in, the more the merrier - it's time Yorkshire got organised!
