Hey guys, new to this world but after reading the Game realized this is the best place for non bias advice!
I am 42, 5'9 225 lbs and go to the gym daily. I get my dates from online and can get dates that way easily but here is my issue.
So last year I had a liver transplant because of cancer. I am 100% cured but I can't drink. And have some minor dietary restrictions but have to take anti rejection pills at 8 and 8. So I avoid the subject right now and tell them I don't drink because my trainer told me not to. But they seem to think im a secret alcoholic. I even do volunteer at the hospital for organ donation.
So is there a way I can use being a cancer survivor or transplant recipient to my advantage or shoud I continue to wait till sex when they see the giant scars from surgery?
It sucks when I get a text " good luck on your health" after a date...I am not a whiner either. I work full time ect. The other issue is some women find it to be a curiosity but loose focus on me.
I will briefly mention it to actually tank a bad date LOL. Though if they are in the health care field they dont seem to care.
Thanks in advance.

I blew my knee doing mixed martial arts. Rather than talking about how I have regular knee pain I tell it as a story of how badass it made me and how much I learned from the experience. It's all about perspective.
If you really want to avoid having to explain it tell them you're allergic to alcohol. Tell them you got drunk in high school once and your throat almost swelled shut and you haven't drank since. It's a lie, but they won't challenge it. No one ever questions the allergy explanation.

I do wish there was a way to cash in on the cancer or volunteer thing. Its funny how women would freak if a guy said "good luck nice knowing you" to a breast cancer survivor.
Any other ideas out there?
