Last Saturday night I met a girl in a club. The meeting was quick - my shirt color and design matched with hers so I used that as an opener; bought her a drink; and then danced with her little; she gave phone number.

I am not into her at all but since I want to get into the game I went ahead and text'ed below on today, Tuesday, afternoon:
"hey kate, this is robbie. How are you? Let's hang out tonite or tomorrow. What do you say. I read Iron man 3 is big hit. cheers".

She has't replied.

Any comments about the above text? should I text her again like in few days?

If you aren't into her at all, then why is your text so overly nice, boring, and wordy?

You should have gone for broke and been real flirty in the first text. What do you have to lose if you're just practicing?

Good idea but you put way to much into one text. All you needed was a good opener to get her interest and from there you could've asked her out. You rushed everything into one text

Since she has given the number already I thought I can jump in for a date. I been out of touch. I remember in the past I started a text conversation by something like - "hey do you know what happened today?". And I got reply from her immediately. (I couldn't keep up and follow through to data though).

No your initial plan was a good idea you just rushed everything into that one text.

I think you should wait for her answer. If not it depends on how far you want to go with this. But my guess is you better run a phone call on her instead of texting.

Girls give out their numbers like there's no tomorrow. Make your intentions clear at the beginning so you don't waste your time. It's evident that she was just never attracted. A lot of times when girls sober up the next day they never speak to you again.
