I've been going out with friends consistently for a couple of weeks now and I can feel my game is getting better. I've approached quite a few sets now and feel comfortable just going up to girls and talking to them (the 3-second rule is practically my religion now).

Although I am having much more success than I used to (k-closed and number closed last night), I often run into sets where one of the girls will ask if I'm trying to pick them up or something along those lines. Last night, a girl told me that my line was the worst she'd ever heard (to be honest, I agree with her: it was a spur-of-the-moment kind of line).

I'm certain this is a shit-test and I'm not sure how to deal with it, so I brush it off by smirking and saying “Oh someone's a bit eager” and change the topic. How do I deal with this effectively? What could I say to the girl who shit testing me? What body language could I use?

Note: I've also noticed that it's almost always the most attractive one of the group (which are the girls I go for). I would appreciate help on this since it always trips me up, even when I'm expecting it.

I know that but I mean for indirect approaches or for when I'm still deciding if the girls I'm talking to are alright or not. Anyone else got any suggestions?
