Ok so been seeing this girl a few times, things have gone fairly intense quickly. Weirdly she is not my type but I find myself very attracted to her. Now when I am with her, or heading to meet her I am focused on being with her, but when I am not I simply get on with my life as opposed to obsessing. What concerns me is that I have cancelled a bunch of dates with other girls since I met her. Is this oneitis?

Sounds like its turning into it to me.....

It is normal for you to think about her all the time. Logically, it takes 7 minutes for her to have sex with another man. Men are logical creatures. It is normal for you to feel like this. What you should do is realize that you can have any other girl you want. Then the feeling will go away.

It sounds like you just like her and want to spend more time with her than other girls. You want to avoid oneitis but you're only human, don't expect yourself to be free of all traces of attachment.

I hate to say it but usually.. when the question of "is it oneitis" comes up, the answer is yes... Especially if you cancelled the other dates specifically because of this girl.
Oneitis is a game killer... find more options before you try to go any further with this girl. Definitely stop cancelling other dates until this girl is 100% yours.
Good luck.
