I have a roommate at my place and I lied and said I live alone.
I have to deter her from coming to my place.
What's a good excuse to avoid her from coming?

She is going to ur place now, or in the future?

If is inthe future, wait some days and tell her that u have a friend coming to live with you.

Similar to above suggestion, maybe you could make out that you're actually moving to a new place (which is actually the place you're in now and not actually moving anywhere) and you'll need a few days to get moved and unpacked, then she can visit...
If that works, you're gonna have to let your roommate or anyone else who would be there know so they doesn't spill the beans!
