Thinking of joining CrossFit and Yoga...Also when I first meet my coworkers suggest we all go out to lunch and perhaps a Friday happy hour. Any other ideas outside of sarging?

U can always post in the location portion of this site I'm sure there's plenty of LA guys to hit up clubs with in that section.

While I am the new guy I will have some seniority over some employee as this is a transfer compared to a new hire.

I understand I can meet others on here to go out sarging and such. Yet in order to have an interesting life, what other things can I do when I first arrive?

A few:
- join a gym club, do classes where you can meet people
- join a dance class
- join couch surfing
- go out alone to clubs etc.
- look for a flatshare with other people you don't know
- online dating with the purpose of not just hooking up but meeting people. this way you will hook up trust me

These are the things that I did when moved to new town where I didn't know anyone. Now I've got some social circle, it requires work though. Always be proactive and come up with fun activities and casually ask people to join you.
