If you didn't want to just be friends with her, you shouldn't have said that. Either way, she could be just as insincere about it as you, so if you want to keep pursuing her then do it.

If she is even decent looking, she has dozens of guys hitting on her every day, she rejects 90% of these guys and then the other 10% get LJBF 90% of the time by the time she is done. All you did was help her make the decision to LJBF you by saying "I am not attracted to you and I don't see you in a sexual way".

i disagree if used properly and you have enough social proof to pull it off,flipping the script eg LJBF a girl can make her chase you,it puts her in the beta seat and of lower value its what she would do to a guy she classes unworthy of dating,therefore she thinks of herself as being classed as not worthy and will try to qualify herself to you,(it takes the right frame to pull it off and you should flirt and show slight interest so she thinks theres a possibility she can get you and it becomes a challenge you become something she desires) just my 2 pence

Your definitely not out of it, she's already trying to validate herself to you by texting you even though your not responding. I'd play it a little cold with her at first, then since she's my "friend" I'd start talking about girls I've gotten with recently or who are trying to get with me (make her see she's not the only girl your talking too).

Take her out to drinks ALONE and go dancing or something and be overtly kinoing and sexual. Reframe the whole thing. Let her qualify herself to you then reward her with the escalation and kiss her and take her home.

Do what Traveler says. If you wait any longer, she's going to shut you out as a defense mechanism to protect her own vulnerability. She's chasing you now, so now's the time to call her back. Don't get too excited or else it'll seem incongruent and she'll think you're bipolar, but it might help if you do ground it with a reason so it's believable. Say something like "Alright, you know what, you do seem like a cool chick. Let's go dancing (or grab a drink or w/e)." Now you are rewarding her for her efforts, but she hasn't 100% won yet, which she'll have to do during the date.

Inaction is the only thing that will ensure defeat.

Look there are two possibilities here now. Either she's really taking this LJBF stuff seriously and now sees you as a friend who she can talk to and put her head on, or she wants you back. Assume option two. Show your intent physically and see how compliant she is. If she doesn't feel comfortable then back off and move on. If she does feel comfortable and is compliant kep going. Stop thinking whether you did the right thing and just take her out now. Lead the interaction. Ignoring her call was ok but now take her out and lead every step of the way.
