basically its been over half a year since me and my ex broke up

blah blah yada yada we go to the same university

and basically i found out from her when i bumped into her, that she had been chilling with one of my friends. she brought it up in conversation no big deal and never tried to hide it. but i only found this out through her when i see this dude damn near every other day

now dudes kind of a hippy spiritual psuedo- religious crockpot

they only chilled a few times when we were dating but now they go to the same gymnastics gym (shes a kung fu champion, he is a free runner) and both do rock climbing at his house

now there group that me and this friend belong to is tight (maybe overly tight) so at no time is it ever just those two in the house, and folks tell me they just do their gym training and do art and such

regardless I straight up told him this shit was making me uncomfortable and that he as my friend he should not be chilling with me

he responded my saying i have no right to tell him who he can be friends with "my loyalties to everyone and god yada yada yada"

essentially i told him to fuck himself and that im not being part of this group no more. now half the group has said the same thing to him and left with me and the other half condemned his actions but are blood relatives of his so yh

part of me thinks im just being ridiculous and angry over nothing. while the prevailing side tells me even if this dudes intentions are honest that he is still being a snake in the grass.

question is am I over reacting or do i have a genuine reason to turf this nigga?


Additional Question: How can i calm myself down, because I'd be lying if i said that that i haven't been waking up pissed off as sin for the last few days about this.

Dude you're in the right. Outside of the game, your friend shouldnt be hanging with your ex like that trying to get some sloppy seconds.
