I found an online profile of a GORGEOUS girl in my area. She had a lot of beach pictures and her profile read

so I sent the following message:
" I'm gonna go on a limb here and guess you love the beach. Anyways, okcupid says we're a 75% match, and I'm not Singaporean. I think that justifies a cup of coffee and some stimulating conversation. Message me back

I get a response:

yep, just a smiley face

Is that her way of saying nothing? I know some girls can just enjoy the attention but I don't imagine she just messages back every guy she ISN'T interested in. How do I go on from here? I want to get her talking a bit more, but I have no idea how.

From a woman's point of view, if she was interested in you, she'd be chatting to you. Sorry, but it means she's just not that into you. I would say that's her way of not being a total bitch by ignoring your message completely, but not giving you any real opening either.

Please don't waste your time on women, no matter how gorgeous they are, if they don't show IMMEDIATE interest in you. If they don't respond to your message in a positive way, they are either being polite or just want attention.

I'm sure you're a great guy - and I don't want you to waste your time hanging on a smily face from some random girl like she did you some kind of golden favour.
